Luke I used a template that builds in lead times and aids safety stock, the trouble is the spikes in sales on demand can throw this out completely Quote: Luke Abumere, Friday, 15 Oct 2010 21:02Can any one help me with a simply demand template showing the following items? The main issue with this, no matter what one can deisgn; This is down to communication from the sales-team especailly in B class items. What I find the issue lies is in sales spikes, that are caused by sales promotional activity or customers buying at pre MPI or as in my industry pre Budget. The forecasts can be 21% over on MAE(MEAN AVERAGE ERROR) or if a delsit happens within a major retailer the reverse hits than fan.
