CSCP Eligibility

For Paper and Pencil Exams
Applications are due to APICS by the schedule deadline as listed on the APICS website at www.apics.org. Deadline for 2010 can also be found in the CSCP FAQ pages of the IOM website. APICS will review all applications and notify candidates of their status within two weeks of receipt. Applications received by APICS after the deadline will not be considered by APICS for that exam administration.

For Computer Based Testing Exams
Applications must be received at APICS at least two weeks before a candidate plans to register for the exam. APICS will review all applications and notify candidates of their status within two weeks of receipt. Applications received with less than two weeks from the time the candidate wants to register will not be expedited.

Application Procedures

1. Obtain an APICS customer number. If you are already an APICS member, your membership number is your APICS customer number. If you cannot remember your APICS customer number or do not have an APICS customer number, contact the IOM Professional Development Department for assistance on Tel: +44 (0) 1536 740166, Email: apics@iomnet.org.uk. Your APICS customer number remains the same throughout the certification process. Please keep it on file and use it whenever your register for exams or order materials.

2. Complete the eligibility application online. Visit www.apics.org/CSCP to access the online form. Complete all requested information and submit to APICS before the eligibility application deadline.

3. APICS will review applications and notify candidates via e-mail of their eligibility status within two weeks of receipt. Candidates will receive either an Authorisation-to-text notice, which indicates that the application was approved, or a notice that the application was denied. Candidates who receive an authorisation to test notice may proceed with the APICS CSCP exam registration. Candidates who receive a denied notice will have the opportunity to provide the required additional information. Please note that in this case, the two week response time applies again.
