Journal Advertising

Operations Management is a printed journal circulated to all members of the Institute of Operations Management.

Contents

Each issue contains technical articles, reports and case studies written by practitioners, consultants and academics, as well as industry news, book reviews and information on the Institute's activities and forthcoming events.

Circulation 

Six issues per year are sent to all members of the Institute as one of the benefits of membership. The membership of the Institute is currently around 3,000. As the journal plays a key part in the marketing of the IOM, additional copies of each issue are printed for circulation to potential new members, thus bringing any advertisement to a much wider audience. In addition, it is circulated to a number of corporate and academic libraries.

Readership 

The journal is read by directors, senior and middle management in manufacturing and service industries. Past surveys, conducted in conjunction with the Business Schools of Warwick and Coventry Universities, have shown that the journal is highly valued by the Institute’s members. As may be expected, the actual readership is some 2-3 times greater than its circulation, as many members pass copies to friends and colleagues.
