The first phase of the new IOM website went live on 1st April 2007. Commercially enabled, visitors can now join and pay for their subscription on-line, book and pay for events, buy and borrow books, and search the Knowledge Bank and journal archives.
Designed to be a key source of knowledge and information on operations, supply chain and production management, it will also offer additional benefits and services for members of the Institute. The second phase of development, due to go live in May 2007, will include member only areas, including a discussion forum. The Forum will enable individuals to network with other professionals on-line, by allowing them to post questions, exchange ideas and participate in discussions.
