Continuous improvement ''should form part of recruitment strategies''

Continuous improvement ''should form part of recruitment strategies''Employing continuous improvement strategies can help recruiters to improve their treatment of disabled candidates.

This is the claim made by E.ON HR director Maria Antoniou at an event for HR professionals on the subject, at which she explained that the company has adopted best practice in order to become an inclusive employer.

She stated that a 'feedback loop' implemented in the operations management process provides the company with "every opportunity to embrace continuous improvement in all aspects of our recruitment strategies".

Ms Antoniou was attending the launch of a new scheme led by E.ON and BT, in conjunction with the Department for Work and Pensions, which will see a new framework introduced for recruitment practice in a bid to increase the number of disabled people in employment.

Continuous improvement strategies can be used in a wide range of situations, with Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council recently announcing that it had implemented new systems for fuel management using such strategies.ADNFCR-3058-ID-800730338-ADNFCR
