CILT(UK) 2008 Annual General Meeting

Please note, as a membership body within CILT, members (MIOM) and fellows (FIOM) are entitled to attend and vote as detailed below.

Notice is hereby given that: the Annual General Meeting of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in the UK will be held at The Old Sessions House, Clerkenwell, London EC1R 0NA on Wednesday 14 May 2008.

Commencing at 10.30am to conduct the following business:

As Ordinary Business

1.To consider and if thought fit adopt the Accounts for the year ended 30 September 2007and the reports of the Directors and Auditors.
2. To re-appoint Mazars LLP Auditors and to authorise the Directors to agree their remuneration.

As Special Business

To consider and if thought fit pass the following resolution as a Special Resolution:-
THAT Article 53 of the Articles of Association is replaced by the following new Article 53:
53. The President, who shall be a member, shall be appointed by Council for a term of office which shall be prescribed in the Bye-Laws.The Bye-Laws shall prescribe the timing, criteria and procedure for appointing the President and his successor.
