Assessment Authors, Markers and Moderators Required

The IOM will now be offering two assessment routes - the Centre Assessment Route, in which the Centre devises the method of assessment, and the Institute Assessment Route, where assessment is set by the Institute.

As a result of introducing the Institute Assessment Route, we are currently looking for Assessment Authors, Markers, and Moderators for all units for the Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma.

For this route we will be holding two assessment series per year, most likely in March and September.

Below is the list of units for each level: 

Certificate:
Unit C1 - Business for Operations Managers
Unit C2 - Demand and Supply Chain Management
Unit C3 - Improvement Techniques for Operations Management

Diploma:
D1 - Operations Management Strategy
D2 - Operations Resource Management
D3 - Business Excellence for Operations Management
D5 - Supply Chain & Inventory Management
D6 - Enterprise Planning for Operations Management
D7 - Manufacturing Planning
D8 - Added Value for Manufacturing
D9 - Operations Management Project

Advanced Diploma:
Project (only marking & moderating expertise required)

These positions are not full time, nor would the personnel become employees of the Institute. The work is likely to suit professionals – probably self-employed – who are able to work flexibly.
