Distance Learning

One of the Institute's aims is to create products to assist in the development of individuals working in operations management. As many potential students of the IOM's programmes are unable to attend formal college-based classes either through work or other committments or due to the travelling distances involved, the Institute has developed distance learning material to aid them.

Diploma material

To study the Diploma by distance learning the Supply Chain Pathfinder package is available. Each Unit of the Diploma in Operations Management is presented as a separately bound folder containing extensive notes and exercises to cover the syllabus of the Diploma. Students wishing to study the Diploma by distance lerning will need to register with a Centre accredited to offer the Diploma by distance learning. Centres delivering the programme by distance learning offer various levels of tutorial support for the programme ranging from personal tutors, through workshops to basic email and telephone support.

A short excerpt from one of the Modules can be downloaded by clicking on this link.

For further information on studying the Diploma by distance learning contact the Institute.
