Partner Organisations

The Institute is pleased to announce that it has agreed a framework of co-operation with the

• Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS)
• Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT)
• Operational Research Society (ORS); and the
• Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Manufacturing Professional Network

Within this framework, members of one Institute will be welcome to attend conferences, seminars, workshops and short courses organised by the other Institutes under the same terms as their own members.  This will enable each Institute to offer added value to its members by providing them with access to a wide range of events addressing issues along the entire supply chain. If the events attract
larger, more mixed audiences, delegates will also gain further benefits in terms of broader discussion and networking opportunities.

Members wishing to book places on CIPS, CILT, ORS and IET events should specify that they are members of the IOM and quote their membership number. Staff from these organisations will then validate these details with the IOM.

The response to this initiative will be monitored and, following a review, it is hoped that this arrangement may be extended into other Institute activities.
